"Storm in the desert" is the standard but very satisfying exhibit where vistitors can vary the frequency of sound waves in a closed glass tube until standing waves are created. The otherwise invisible sound waves are made visible by the cork particles in the tube which become excited in the areas of low pressure and "dance". Built 2000, Client: Science Center Universum, Bremen.
